L´Ampolla is situated on the Costa Dorada and is still one of Spain's best kept secrets. As the name suggests
the beaches are golden and the waters blue flag. Yet "La Mariona" is just an hour away from the nightlife and culture of
Barcelona, 45 minutes from the old Roman capital - Tarragona, just half an hour from one of Europe's largest theme
parks - Port Adventura run by Universal Studios -and only 40 minutes from Reus airport served by Ryanair.
The perfect location
La Mariona is a 5 bed roomed villa, with 4 double bedrooms and one single. The villa - or more accurately a finca rustica is about 3 KM due west of L´Ampolla, situated on a narrow track running through the mountains.
The narrow track was once part of the Augustine way, an ancient Roman road which led to the Roman capital of the
Iberian peninsular, Tarragona. To the rear of the property there are spectacular views of the sea.
Comfortable living accommodation
The Villa faces onto the mountains. So that even on the hottest days a cool breeze blows through the house.
At the rear of the Villa is the pool and from the pool you look out onto the Ebro delta - a wonderful panoramic view
of the Mediterranean and the lush green "paddy" fields where the area's most important crop - rice is grown.
Fully equipped
La Mariona is equipped with sky TV so you can receive all your favourite programmes. There's also a hi fi
system so you can listen to the local radio or CDs. There is a washing machine,
microwave and a fridge freezer along
with all the cutlery, pots and pans you'll need. Our maid leaves water, bread, milk and a complementary bottle of wine
for your arrival to keep you going until you reach the Supermarket. The property is fully alarmed and security
protected; so while you're enjoying your time away, all you need to do is concentrate on relaxing.
Easy to get to - lots to do
La Mariona is just 40 minutes from Reus airport and about an hour from Barcelona airports. L´Ampolla itself
is immediately accessible from the main motorway out of Reus and is extremely easy to get to. As for things to do -
